Enco Srl – Engineering & Consulting is a Naples-based consulting firm that operates since 1987 in the areas of consulting on research and innovation and technical assitance to businesses. Throughout the years it has expanded its range of activities, enriched its expertise and has opened two new offices in Brussels and Rio de Janeiro.
In particular, ENCO supports its clients in approaching European funds, thanks to its strong and long experience developing and managing EU projects. Throughout the years, ENCO has acquired a specific focus on biomass issues, by participating in projects related to this topic. Such projects include, for example, the development, optimatization and scale-up of biolofical solvent production, OPTISOLV(ETB). Furthermore, ENCO is partners in projects related to the use of microalgae for innovative technologies such as ALGATEC 2 (FP7) for the optimisation of the biotechnological recycling solution for olive washing water, and ZEWIPRO (Eco-Innovation Programme) project for the introduction of an innovation technology on the wine production’s market to reduce the huge amount of CO2 released during the fermentation process through a PBR.
In the actions where it is involved, ENCO is responsible for all the activities related to exploitation and dissemination of project results. On one side, it takes charge of market researches, development of business plan and management of Intellectual Property Rights. On the other side, ENCO arranges for the creation of websites, organisation of events and in general for all those actions aiming at disseminating the consortium activities and results among the project’s stakeholders.
Thanks to its experience in the above mentioned fields, ENCO will be able to provide EUBIA and its members with a valuable support in preparing and developing successful EU project proposals, while taking care of exploitation and dissemination parts in the approved actions, promoting the use of innovative technologies and knowledge exchange among that stakeholders and the scientific community.
