Saltgae Project participated as an exhibitor at the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition held in Stockholm (Sweden) from 12th to 15th June.
Saltgae Project is a European project funded under H2020. It proposes an innovative, sustainable and efficient solution for the treatment of high salinity wastewater of the food industry by using halotolerant algae for the elimination of organic matter and nutrients.
This innovative solution is notable for its high added value. It not only provides an efficient and ecological solution for wastewater treatment, but also represents an innovative way to produce algae biomass, that can be then valued in different by-products.
Due to the fact that EUBCE has become an essential meeting point for the entire European Biomass value chain, the 19 partners of Saltgae project attended the exhibition in order to expose the latest developments in Saltgae technology.
