Congratulations to Drilona Shtjefni, the new Deputy Secretary General of EUBIA
Ms. Shtjefni, who currently serves as Business Management, Communications and Marketing Officer, has been nominated as Deputy Secretary General of the European Biomass Industry Association.
She has an academic background in EU affairs and Business Management and previous experience in renewable energy projects. Drilona has a good knowledge on EU policy, she has been working for the biggest lobbying organization of Telecom in Europe. Currently, she is committed on contributing to the implementation of projects and initiatives across Europe for the development of the biomass sector, a sector with a growing importance in reaching renewable energy and energy efficiency targets in the EU. “Biomass represents an important source not only for our energy production, but also for several other high-value bioproducts, we need to invest on new technologies, research but particularly enhance our cooperation. All key stakeholders are welcomed to join EUBIA’s members and networks (EUBREN, AIN)”, said Ms. Shtjefni during her acceptance speech.
