There are several Energy Awards around Europe that promote the path towards a more sustainable Europe. These are some of the more relevant Energy Awards that are taking place now:
Upcoming Awards:
The Energy Awards. Rewarding Excellence in the Energy Business, it takes place the 6th December in London. The finalists of this year’s Energy Awards have been already selected. In the hosted ceremony, there will be some of the most senior operators in the energy market both local and international.
LegalCommunity Energy Awards will take place in Milan the 30th January 2018. The purpose of the awards is to bring out the excellence of the legal market in the energy and energy sector operators. Energy Globe Awards. ENERGY GLOBE has a global call for participation in an annual competition for outstanding sustainable best practice projects. Annually, some 800 projects and initiatives are submitted from all over the world. There are two awards, the World Award and the National Awards, with a deadline to submit the proposal the 21st November 2017.
Horizon Prizes. There are several Horizon ‘challenge’ Prizes. Horizon Prizes are challenge prizes offer a cash reward to whoever can most effectively meet a defined challenge. The aim of these prizes is to act as an incentive for innovation by prescribing the goal, but not how the goal should be achieved. The submission of the projects for each of them is still available although they have different date deadlines. Please find all the information here:

EUSEW 2017 EU Sustainable Energy Awards: The winners of the EU Sustainable Energy Awards June 2017, presented by European Commissioner for Climate Action and Energy Miguel Arias Cañete at a ceremony in Brussels, were TILOS Island, Sinbio, Home Energy Saving Kit and Celsius-Smart District Energy.
