The first call will open on September 17th, 2018. The deadline for proposal submission will be January 17th, 2019 – 13:00 CET.
The 1st call for proposals from the network ‘Bioeconomy in the North’ will provide a total of 5.5 million € to projects applicants from Germany, Finland and Norway.
Projects in the frame of „Bioeconomy in the North“should significantly contribute to at least one of the three following topics:
- Forest biomass production
- Lignocellulosic biomass conversion
- Valorisation and governance strategies and policy instruments.
Bioeconomy in the North is a network of ministries and funding agencies from Finland, Germany and Norway and was funded in 2017. Its mission is to deepen the cooperation of researchers, to create critical mass, to generate synergies and to support R&D&I projects relevant for bioeconomy in the northern part of Europe.
