Since the first edition of EUBCE, EUBIA has always been an active partner of this event, and even for the 2018 edition we showed our engagement and support. In particular, EUBIA’s Deputy Secretary General, Ms Drilona Shtjefni participated both as a panellist and as a chairwoman of some parallel sessions. With the collaboration of Prof. Dimitrios Sidiris (from University of Piraeus), Ms Shtjefni co-chaired a session on oil-based biofuels focusing on ground-breaking technologies for the production of biodiesel and jet fuels. Ms Shtjefni was also co-chairing with Mr Kees Kwant, Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs, the panel “Market implementation and financing” with a focus on enabling policies for market introduction of biofuels, biomass heating and biogas.
